As seen in the runways: sportswear inspired looks have been around for a while, connecting the dots, this is what I found out. RUNWAY TREND AND REAL TREND : THE HIGH fASHION SPORTY . We all know there are Sneakerheads and, there are High Fashion -Sneakerheads . The first ones are known by their endless love for, you know, Sneaker AKA tennis/running/trainers shoes. The second ones, are lately, known by their endless love for High Fashion shoes, and it might sound weird but I just wanted to use that term, because, this kind of shoe lovers are far from being like a regular sneakerhead. In January 24 of this year, Victoria Taylor wrote an article for the NY Daily News , about High Fashion sneakers, in which she asks “Will upscale tennis shoes replace high heels as the favorite footwear?” she also mentions terms such as comfy couture and luxe sneakers.
